The way it works is that there are 2 save folders: a "vanilla" folder, and a "mod" folder. Anyone confirm?įortunately it's easy to exit the game and re-start vanilla. I was tinkering with mods this weekend (for the first time) I seem to remember not being able to load a vanilla game if you have mods enabled. It's all about finding what you like and going with that. Some are purely GUI-related, while others change the gameplay a lot. After that, there are a lot of mods to consider. Play vanilla first, at least once through. Anything worthwhile? I'm currently playing an Embermage with a Bulldog named after my real life dog. With that said, are there any necessary mods or anything I should grab? I saw some user created content on Steam. Plays really well on my PC, and is a ton of fun so far. Played the original to death on Xbox Live Arcade (I don't play much on PC), but I just had to get this. Finally grabbed this game in the Gamefly sale for 5 bucks.
